Dr. Akin Cil

Dr. Cil specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery, seeing patients for shoulder and elbow disorders, including sports injuries; shoulder and elbow replacement; rotator cuff surgery; arthroscopic surgery of shoulder and elbow; complex and revision surgery of the shoulder and elbow; shoulder and elbow fractures.

Dr. Cil sees patients at the Lakewood Specialty Center.

Dr. Scott Luallin

Dr. Scott Luallin

Dr. Scott R. Luallin specializes in sports injury treatment, joint replacement, and general orthopaedics. Dr. Luallin also serves as the Team Physician and Chief Medical Officer for Kansas City’s Major League Soccer team, Sporting KC. He was previously in private practice in the Kansas City area and recently joined Lakewood Orthopaedics.

Dr. Luallin currently sees patients in the Lakewood Medical Pavilion.

Dr. Thomas McCormack

Dr. Thomas McCormack

Dr. Thomas McCormack has a special interest in personalized total knee replacements, total hip replacements, and unicompartmental (partial) knee replacements.

Dr. McCormack utilizes state of the art implants for total knee and hip replacements, which allow for a more accurate, individualized fit, and greater comfort. A specialized team provides support for each joint replacement patient, prior to surgery and after, maximizing the opportunity for a quick recovery.

The partial knee replacement is a minimally invasive knee surgery, which is often the procedure of choice for a highly active lifestyle patient who wishes to have more mobility on a long-term basis.

Additional services available include shoulder scopes, knee scopes, and ACL reconstruction. Dr. McCormack’s practice is located in the Lakewood Medical Pavilion.

Dr. Amelia Sorensen

Dr. Amelia Sorensen

Dr. Sorensen specializes in hand, wrist and microvascular surgery. Her clinical interests include the treatment of traumatic, degenerative and neuromuscular conditions of the wrist and hand, including fracture care, nerve surgery, arthroscopy, joint replacement and microsurgical techniques.

Dr. Sorensen sees patients at the Lakewood Specialty Center.
